Whirlwind Days

Good day dashing perfumistas! I hope all is well in your world. I have a whirlwind going on here and I hope to review Satellite Ipanema over the weekend. Today I am wearing Bvlgari Pour Femme, a beautiful old standby. What are you wearing today?

I am using Kenzo Amour, as I just recently purchased it from a Fragrance Event at Nordstrom.

I was wondering if you could do a review of the online perfume stores, and some tips of what to look out for when purchasing perfumes online. Are deep discounts on perfumes something to be wary of?

I love this blog, by the way! Great job!

Hello SVchick,

Thank you so much for the great suggestion. And thank you for your support of my blog! It is always nice to hear from regular readers.

I am happy to write that piece and I will work on it momentarily. Again, thanks and please feel free to comment any time. You smell great today. ;-)

Another regular reader here, T! Today I wore Divine L'Inspiratrice. Rose and patchouli, kind of powdery and quite unusual (in a good way!) to my nose. Have a great weekend!

Goodmorning! Great choice, I think all the Bulgari fragrances are elegant. Perhaps I wouldn't choose all of them for myself but I can really appreciate them. I am still saving up a little sample of Oshibori for a day when my senses are completely open for a new experience..It is a tiny one and I cannot find Oshibori anywhere around, so I am really hiding it away till I'm ready. Today I am wearing nothing, since I am going perfume shopping to another city and I need to sample some things on my skin. Wish me luck, I am really excited.

Hello Linda,

Oh, that L'Inspiratrice by Divine sounds lovely and the name is quite elegant! Have a great weekend as well.

Hugs,

D.,

Have a fantastic time shopping. The hunt is always the best part! Let us know what you think of Oshibori when you try it.

Thank you.. Shopping was fantastic because I got to sample a lot of things but in the end I didn't buy anything. It was one of those days :P The weather was sunny though which makes up for the lack of purchases. Of course when I came home I had to open my drawers and dig up my Oriboshi, only to find that it is just a Bulgari Femme towelette. I had to laugh for saving it up ALL this time :) Sometimes even I don't know what I have in my horribly overstuffed drawers, packrat that I am. I hope your weekend is going great!

Hi. You've got a great blog and I've enjoyed reading many of your fragrance reviews. I'd love to open my sample drawer and try out some new scents today, but I've developed some pretty bad allergies due to all the trees budding up here in Minnesota. I can't smell anything. pouting...so I'll take some more antihistimines and hope that tomorrow my nose returns home!

All the best to you.
