A Brief Note
Hello Dear Readers!
My sincere apologies for a lack of entries over the last few weeks. Closing in on the end of my pregnancy brings with it a "to do" list a mile long along with a jam-packed full-time work schedule in order to prepare for maternity leave. I have some wonderful samples to review, but finding the time to write them is proving challenging. My goal is to have one up by next Friday. So please tell me what you are wearing today. I plan to wear the new Intuition by Ralph Lauren. I liken it to warm and spicy yet soft cocoa powder, a perfect fall scent for a sensitive nose.
Have a wonderful day!

Enlevemant Au Serail!
Enjoy the last few weeks, fellow pregnant perfumista! The first few weeks of mommyhood are a bit of a lulu, so make sure to relax and get some rest now.
best wishes on a perfect birthing... Perhaps a Sag. like me is coming ?
I am wearing baghari , it is warm and super humid here in Florida today so the champagne vibe is perfect .
hey up there pq .
Relax and get ready.
babies have a wonderful smell!
Hi, T! I've been wondering whether she had already arrived! You must be so excited. I'll be watching for the announcement. :)
Take care,
Linda
Hello Perfumequeen!
Thank you for the tips! How old is your little one? Great choice in fragrance!
Waftbycarol,
I would love a Sag. which is much more compatable with my husband and me than a Capricorn! We shall see when she decides to show, however!
The smell is one of the things I most look forward to +qperfume. :-)
Thanks Linda! Six-eight weeks at the most, three weeks at the least! We're closing in on it. :-)
Hope you are feeling well and things go smoothly for you!
I'm wearing both Elixir de Merveilles and Eau de Merveilles today. Not in love yet, but have learned from experience that sometimes these things take time:)
Best wishes,
Carole
My little one is now two, and a perfume fanatic already. She wan't leave my dressign area with out a "spritz-spritz" I think you mentioned you are having a daughter, and let me tell you what fun they are :)
Have taken a sharp turn in the past two days...was wearing things like Bois des Isles, or Chergui...yesterday, showered & spritzed BBW Sandalwood Rose with a Bulgari Rose Essentiale chaser, which made for a nicely through my very long day at work...today is Gap Grass.
Best wishes with your labor, delivery, and new relationship!
Porbably now you are already nursering!
So Mazal Tov!
You are now in the world of smelling poopooh, milk, delicious baby´s soap, colognes and all that.
It was the most beautiful times of my life and I hope it will be also yours! kisses and good luck with the little one!
PQ,
Oh what a heartwarming story! I have a feeling my little lady will be the same way!
:-)
ScentScelf,
Beautiful choices! I've been wearing spicier/sweeter fragrances as well but I love the idea of BBW Sandalwood Rose with a Bvlgari "chaser"! You smell lovely. ;-)
Maisqueperfume!
Thank you! Not yet, though. I've still got a few weeks to a month left. I am determined to write a few reviews in the next few weeks. ;-)
I am very excited for you! I love the photo, too, very cute. Can't wait to hear about the neew arrival!

Hi...I am feeling excited after going through all the comments. I am also a perfume lover n i was here to know more about the available choice...I found it great, the way you shared your precious moment of life. Till now..my favorite brand is Evening in paris. I am crazy about it.
Hi. I've been thinking of ordering a bottle of Balmain "Ivoire" over the internet but haven't smelled it myself so I was looking for reviews and came across your lovely review of it and was very impressed. You write very nicely and evocatively! Like you, I love perfumes (although I'm very selective and find that a lot of more current ones smell very "same-y" and bland) and tend to gravitate to lesser known ones, rather than over-marketed more commonplace ones, because they're often much nicer and more interesting scents! Also, I like knowing I don't smell like every other woman and smell a bit unique! Anyway, after reading your review of Ivoire I'm definitely going to buy myself a bottle over the internet and am looking forward to smelling it, and wearing it, myself. I don't know if your baby has arrived yet but I wish you every happiness and I'm sure she'll be gorgeous! I love the photo, by the way, and the little bootees are so cute!

P.S. I recently discovered Oxygene and Eclat D'Arpege, both by Lanvin and which are both lovely, although Oxygene is my favourite of the two. If you've never tried them you should because you might like them! Also, just before Christmas I was lucky enough to spend a long weekend in the South of France and visited the Fragonard Parfumerie in Eze and bought a bottle of Juste un Baiser, which is another perfume you might like! It's very girly and sweet, but not overly so, and is gorgeous!!
