The New York City Sniffapalooza was held this past weekend! Ladies and gents, details please. Tell us about your experiences and new discoveries. It is the next best thing to being there for those of us who could not make it.

Hi! I went to the sniffa this past weekend and had a lot of fun. Bergodorfs, Henri Bendel, Takashimaya, and Saks on Saturday, and I made it to Bond, Le Labo, and Lafco on Sunnday. My not so new but new for me discovery was L'Artisan Dzing!, of which I promptly bought a bottle. I also fell in love with Chanel Cuir de Russie, but the bottle is so big and therefore not quite so affordable that I held off on a purchase. I think I will make do with a decant for now. I also really liked Le Labo Tuberose, but because of its exclusivity to NYC, it also was not very affordable for me.
I met some of the wonderful ladies of MUA, and they were all so nice. I hope to be able to meet you some other time!
Thanks for stopping by! It sounds like you had a wonderful experience. Of the scents you mention, Le Labo Tuberose sounds most up my alley. Isn't it great to mingle with other fragrance fiends? Maybe some day Linda (Phoenix fragrance friend) and I will get to NYC. We've definitely talked about it.
Yes, you and Linda must join us for a NYC Sniffa! The event went very well, everyone seemed to enjoy the sensory overload, and you can watch part of it here -http://www.forbes.com/video/?video=fvn/lifestyle/jal_sniff040507
Oh, that video made me salivate. Karen D. looks great! Thank you for sharing and inspiring me. I am creating a NYC Sniffapalooza savings account this week. ;-)
Thanks for visiting! Since I was a young girl I have happily indulged my sense of smell. Peering through old drawings and gifts for my mother, perfume always held front and center. And that holds true today. Lately, this innate love for stellar scent has been groomed by my fellowship of fragrance lovers and I am so grateful to find a clan in which I truly feel at home.
While I do believe some can find a signature scent, I have never found one fragrance to satisfy my insatiable sense of smell. I spontanteously and continually long to experience every fragrance I can get my hands on. Therefore, this blog began as a means to indulge myself and others.
Today, I hope to share my thoughts, feelings and ideas about some of my favorite, and not so favorite, scents. I invite you to read and enjoy perfume as I do - a hobby, a diversion, a pleasurable treat.
